About the role

Noeline’s (Pvt) Ltd is looking for creative, passionate, and talented Makeup Artists (MUA) to join our team in Negombo.

We welcome both enthusiastic trainees who want to start a career in professional makeup artistry and experienced makeup artists who can deliver high-quality makeup services, understand client preferences, and create beautiful looks for different occasions.

What you will be doing

  • Provide professional makeup services for bridal, party, engagement, special occasions, and other client requirements.
  • Consult with clients to understand their preferences, skin types, and desired makeup looks.
  • Create natural, glamorous, bridal, and occasion-specific makeup looks according to client requirements and expertise.
  • Prepare clients’ skin before makeup application using appropriate skincare and preparation techniques.
  • Select suitable makeup products, shades, and techniques for different skin tones and types.
  • Apply foundation, concealer, contour, blush, eye makeup, lipstick, and other makeup products professionally.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene by cleaning and sanitising makeup brushes, tools, and equipment.
  • Keep makeup products and workstations organised and ensure products are stored correctly.
  • Recommend suitable makeup products and aftercare tips to clients.
  • Maintain client appointments, punctuality, and professional communication.
  • Capture portfolio photos or videos of completed makeup looks, with client consent.
  • Stay updated on current makeup trends, techniques, and beauty products.
  • Work collaboratively with the salon team to deliver excellent customer service.

What we are looking for

  • Passion for makeup artistry, beauty, and cosmetics.
  • Previous experience as a Makeup Artist is an advantage but not essential for trainees.
  • A makeup artistry certificate or relevant professional training is an added advantage.
  • A portfolio of previous makeup work is preferred for experienced candidates.
  • Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Professional appearance, creativity, and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn new techniques and complete the required training.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays when required.
  • Willingness to work at the Galle, Negombo, or Kandy branch, depending on placement.
